Short Bio
I am a PhD Candidate in Philosophy at Northeastern University London. I work in the philosophy of science and the philosophy of AI, with a focus on the epistemology of machine learning (generalization, simplicity, explanation). I hold degrees from the University of Bologna (BA in Philosophy, summa cum laude, 2016; MA in Semiotics, summa cum laude, 2019) and from Northeastern University London (MA in Philosophy & Artificial Intelligence, First-Class Honours, 2022). I am currently completing my PhD (expected Oct 2026), supervised by Ioannis Votsis and colleagues in philosophy (Jon Williamson) and computer science (Rogerio De Lemos). Alongside my doctoral research, I have served as a Seminar Leader in Logic (LPHIL4228) and as a Research Assistant on projects in human–AI interaction and in network science for the humanities.
